A view from Porthywaen School Level Crossing looking towards Blodwell Quarry. This shows a much more tidier railway from this area after strimming. 2592x1944 |
We now take a walk down the railway line towards Bldowell Quarry and see a much more tidier section of track. 2592x1944 |
This is as far as strimming has been done but further on Colin, Mike, John and myself have used pole hooks, loppers and saws to cut the vegitation down to ground level and this then makes it easier for the strimmer. 2592x1944 |
We're now at the head of clearance and looking towards Blodwell Quarry. Beyond here the undergrowth is very thick. When I walked this section with someone a few weeks ago I was stung by brambles and nettles. Not recommended. 2592x1944 |

A much more clearer view of the distant A483 Level Crossing. 2592x1944 |
A view of the Morda River Bridge 53. This has been cleared of vegitation too. The undergrowth along this section here was unbelievable. 2592x1944 |
