We now take a look at some of the latest work undertaken by the Cambrian Heritage Railways of Oswestry. On Thursday 23rd July, we cleared the railway from the A483 Level Crossing South towards Llynclys. Much work was accomplished this day. I'd like to thank the following people Brian Rowe (Cambrian Railways Trust Volunteer Liason Officer and Vice Chairman), Gavin Ellis, Andy Wilson, Michael, David, Colin, Ken Owen (Cambrian Railways Society Vice Chairman), Bob Evans. On Saturday 25th July, we cleared the railway from Porthywaen School Level Crossing further towards Blodwell Quarry. I'd like to thank the following people Brian Rowe (Cambrian Railways Trust Volunteer Liason Officer and Vice Chairman), Gavin Ellis, Andy Wilson, Michael, David, Colin, Ken Owen (Cambrian Railways Society Vice Chairman), Bob Evans. At long last the relationship between the Cambrian Railways Trust and Society is much stronger as these two days show. The two organisations are working together very well and shortly I hope they both join together as one. The odds the two organisations once had against one another are now thankfully long gone. I'd like to remind people once again that sometimes my site isn't updated as much as it was. This doesn't mean no work is happening in the Cambrian Heritage Railways. We're now at the end of our walk and this is the track further on. It's covered in high vegitation. I did personally walk this track with a friend just over a month ago and it was a struggle. As a result, I got scratches all over my legs from the brambles that are geowing high everywhere. 25/07/09
