This Halt itself served the Llanfyllin branchline which itself closed in 18th January 1965. Wern Junction's behind me but due to heavy undergrowth, it's very hard to see. The railway at this point goes under the B4398 Llansantffraid Y Mechain - Llanymynech road and Montgomery Canal.
